Hampton Roads Water Gardens opened on Feb. 15, 2006 and is owned and operated by Jeff Halvorson & Mary Lynn Janis. Mica and Stephen are seasonal part-time employees and Hook, Princess, and Little Bit are the shop kitties.
Jeff Halvorson has been involved with ponds since building one as a teenager for his dad in 1969 and has solutions for all your pond building needs and maintenance.
Mary Lynn Janis has 25 years of experience with plants. She will be happy to help you decide on which varieties of aquatic plants will best accent your pond.
Stephen is a koi enthusiast who enjoys the pond business and completed an internship at the Blackwater Creek Koi Farm and has 7 years experience in water gardens.
Mica aka Micafish is a graphic artist who helps out on the weekend to help support her fish habit.
